Preowned Watch Details
The IW5009-16 comes on an IWC leather strap with a blue dial. This model was created by IWC in honor of famed pilot and author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. His book, "Le Petit Prince," has sold over 150 million copies and has been translated into over 250 languages since its initial publication in 1936. The case back features an engraving of the little prince with his coat and sword - exactly how Saint-Exupéry drew him in the 1940s. This timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition. Powered by IWC's Calibre 51111 self-winding mechanical movement with an impressive approximate 168-hour power reserve. The IW5009-16 was replaced by the IW5010-02 in 2018. Comes with IWC box, papers, and manuals.
